For most, my Capstone projects centers around foreign students adjustment problems here at Richland. I want to create a program here that adheres to concerns, and needs for these students.
It was difficult finding PSA videos that matched what I am reaching for, so I chose PSA videos that incorporated a concept I want to portray in my PSA video.
The first video is a generic PSA about Global studies--It wants everyone to open their eyes and become aware of the world we live in. It calls for us to diminish this closed box we live in and to begin being thirsty for knowledge and experience in other cultures outside our own. This video didn't have good video quality, they used voice overs to transition different scenery taking place which was an element I wanted to incorporate in my PSA video.
The second video is an anti-bullying PSA--It shows how words can crush a person and lead to the victim committing suicide. It had a deep message, and its graphic elements help portray the seriousness of the issue.


MY PSA will incorporate foreign students getting bullied, or having a hard time understanding generic things we take for granted in the U.S. I want to make the video in black and white, then add color as I talk about hope.

Capstone Website

The different pages of my website will include an About Page, my personal Bio, Action plan, also a contact me Page. I recently changed my capstone project to solidify the mentor program here at RCHS. I will have stats of junior achievement rate here at RCHS. I will incorporate the theme of purple and green we wear proudly here on this great campus. The website shall have a slide show running, with a modern look to it. It will link to the schools website page.
